Odd had the first Armlifting contest using the Rolling Thunder in 2000 in Hawaii.

Odd has won many medals and is a legend for his non-chalant lifting of the Thomas Inch dumbbell for many reps.

Here Odd is pictured being inducted into the Armlifting USA Hall of Fame by President, Riccardo Magni at the 2023 World Armlifting Championships in Orlando, Florida.

Bert Sorin accepts the plaque on behalf of his father, Richard Sorin from Riccardo Magni.  Richard, along with Odd Haugen and Riccardo, made the first Saxon bar that Sorinex now sells.
